I have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with blogs. On the one hand, its a great way to keep up with people that I don’t see on a regular basis: I can know the important (and not so important) things in their lives even if we don’t have time to sit down and talk. I love when good bloggers write the way they talk: when reading some friends’ blogs, I can practically hear them saying their thoughts to me.
But I have a negative knee-jerk reaction to blogs. I tend to associate them with those online diaries that were popular back in middle school. People (mostly girls) would post their drama for the world to see, and then wonder why their lives were so dramatic. If you like Chad, don’t post it on your blog. Go talk to him. If you’re mad at Stacy and you post it online, don’t be surprised when everyone at school knows the next day.
And yet here I am, with a blog. We’ll see about this.
