Venice is the crown of Veneto, and it may be my favorite city in the world. While most people come to Veneto just for Venice, there’s so much to see in the region. Access to the Dolomite Alps means great hiking and winter sports, and several of Shakespeare’s plays were based in Veneto towns. Prosecco Road also merits a visit as one of the most beautiful wine regions I’ve ever seen!
