  1. Hi, I’ve been researching for some time to make sure I take and do the right thing to have a solo travel for a month. I came upon your post and I like that you have been in all the places I’ve plan to go. UK, France, Italy in that order. Is there any more information you can provide about the airports what to do and what not to do. Never been across the sea so this will be a first. I just want to be safe and enjoy the whole month.

    1. That is so exciting!! Your trip sounds amazing! Generally, my biggest tips (especially for this summer) are going carry on only to save the hassle of losing your bags, and to get to the airport early. When you have connecting flights, make sure the layovers are longer than you’d usually choose – this way, if customs is slow you won’t miss your connection! This summer I’ve been aiming for 90 minute-2 hour layovers. It’s long, but you don’t want to get stuck!

I also share current travel tips on my Instagram, so follow me at @teaspoonofnose if I can help with other travel advice!

      Have a fabulous time!
